The Canadian rider (26), who came to prominence on the roads of the Giro last year*, finished third in the Dauphiné, his best result in a week long race.
Winner of stage 3, Derek Gee impressed observers with his performance in the mountains. With 3 top 5 finishes on the stages reserved for climbers, including a podium this Sunday at the summit of the Plateau des Glières.
